Description

Ipamorelin is a highly selective growth hormone secretagogue pentapeptide that stimulates GH release without significantly affecting cortisol, prolactin, or ACTH levels. This selectivity makes it one of the cleanest GHRPs available for research.

Mechanism of Action

Ipamorelin acts as a selective agonist at the ghrelin/growth hormone secretagogue receptor (GHS-R), stimulating pulsatile GH release from the pituitary (Raun et al., 1998). Unlike other GHRPs, Ipamorelin does not induce significant hunger or affect other pituitary hormones (Johansen et al., 1999).

Research Overview

Ipamorelin is a synthetic peptide compound used in laboratory research settings. Researchers studying growth hormone releasing hormone pathways use this compound to investigate cellular signaling pathways, receptor binding affinities, and structure-activity relationships. Each batch is manufactured under controlled conditions and verified through HPLC and mass spectrometry analysis to ensure consistency across experimental replicates.
